At 8th dialogue on the action for Climate Empowerment, Chairperson Standing Committee on Climate Change presented the working of comittee. The Committee is collaborating with 3 sectors for achieving results:
1: Govt & Regulatory departments
2: Think tanks, academia & professionals
3: Communities affected by climate change
Chairperson said that Climate change is an urgent challenge, it requires an effort on collective level. The standing committee envisions to collaborate with academia analyzing possible adaption & mitigation strategies, integration with academia will assist in better legislation on climate change.
