Air Quality Asia in cooperation with National Assembly of Pakistan held a Parliamentary webinar on the climate crisis and the role that the legislators can play in crafting sustainable solutions. The chairperson standing committee on climate change Hon. Ms Munaza Hassan briefed the panel on initiatives taken by the committee. The chairperson shared that along with the committee members we were determined to introduce innovation and reforms to develop this committee as a model for all committees in our parliamentary system. She presented the initiative such as development of state of the art website, legislative mapping, reviewing international commitments, and creating pool of experts.
